Requirements

An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred, along with experience working with technology-based processes within the business environment. Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines, the ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines are essential. Computer literacy and typing skills are also required. Remote employees must supply and support their own internet services and maintain an uninterrupted internet connection.

Responsibilities

The Quality Analyst is responsible for managing the medical file review process, reviewing completed referrals to ensure client questions are addressed, and reviewing completed reports for accuracy. They will ensure client and department standards are met by reviewing reports and medical records for completeness and addressing client questions. The analyst will follow up with reviewers and clients for clarification, update clients on referral progress, ensure reports are grammatically correct and error-free, and adhere to the QA checklist. They will also format reports for approval and communicate clearly and concisely between the customer, reviewer, and operations team, confidently speaking with physicians and clients regarding peer review content. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
