Requirements

  • At least 5 years of extensive project planning experience (integrated schedules during bidding and execution)
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 as planning tool and MS Office
  • Familiar with Project Management concepts including API 6A/17D
  • Able to independently schedule multiple projects
  • Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, with a sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks
  • Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (Oral and Written)

Responsibilities

  • Managing Schedules: Overseeing the overall project schedule management, ensuring its quality and accuracy (update of dates, progress, scope definition)
  • Collaborating with other planners including other product line and engineering planners as well as the execution functions (engineering/procurement/manufacturing/quality/logistics) to ensure the quality/accuracy
  • Supporting project management: providing visibility of tasks, risks in schedules and mitigation actions, as well as the opportunities in the schedule
  • Providing relevant reports to ensure Project Manager has the tools to make the right decisions and drive on-time/on-budget project execution
  • Supporting with the customer: Interacting with the customer (internal and external) to provide updates on schedule and explaining the current situation/challenges/opportunities
  • Implementing integrated project planning initiatives: Adhere to the processes and drive the implementation of new initiatives, leading to fully integrated planning
  • Evaluating current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects
