The Fetch Product Design team is responsible for all design aspects within the Fetch enterprise and internal applications, encompassing user experience design, creative direction, and production. Their objective is to deliver enjoyable experiences that users and partners value highly.

Fetch is seeking experienced Lead Product Designers to join their team. In this role, you will work within a focused, balanced team, leading initiatives that measurably improve people's lives. You will also guide the team's culture through mentorship and thought leadership, and help Fetch advance by integrating user-centered practices across the organization.

Product Designer Profile

Product designers at Fetch are expected to be:

Expected Progress

By Month 3:

  • Regularly launch designs to production.
  • Become intimately familiar with the Fetch app and enterprise systems.
  • Integrate within your team, understanding its focus, goals, and KPIs.
  • Develop strong working relationships with your team, Product Owner, Tech Lead, and key cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead design critiques of your work with stakeholders and peers.
  • Collaborate with other design leads on Design Operations initiatives.
  • Run small research studies.
  • Mentor other designers.

By Month 6:

  • Influence and make decisions within your team.
  • Explore the unknown through research to identify untouched or undiscovered opportunities.
  • Contribute to a long-term vision (6+ months) for your collective.

By Year 1:

  • Influence decisions outside of your team for the broader organization.
  • Thrive in ambiguity within your team and the larger organization.
  • Actively drive research activities.
  • Consistently launch into production and iterate on ongoing work.
