Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, and have at least 8 years of experience in manufacturing systems engineering, with a strong focus on footwear manufacturing. Demonstrated experience collaborating with diverse engineering teams and cross-functional partners is essential. A deep understanding of manufacturing processes, Lean principles, and digital manufacturing technologies is required.
As Lead Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with engineering subject matter experts and various functions to drive manufacturing and product excellence, ensuring alignment with global engineering strategies while delivering impactful solutions at the local level. You will landscape factory partners modernization solutions, catalyze actions to proliferate those solutions, drive manufacturing improvement through capability building, and evolve factory digital connectivity. Additionally, you will contribute to Nike’s mission by ensuring connectivity with the local Partner Management office (PMO) leadership, engaging with factory partners and internal teams, and progressing against clearly defined priorities.
