Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Metallurgy, or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability. A minimum of four years of program management experience with accomplishments in concept-to-market product and process development is required, along with the ability to lead concept, design, and proof-of-concept work with minimal supervision and guidance. Experience with dental products is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Design Engineer will manage innovation within the manufacturing design team by challenging the technical team to implement new processes while maintaining timely readiness for mass production, build consensus by engaging with a talented engineering team, the executive leadership team, and an international supply chain, create process development schedules indicating critical path and key decision milestones, facilitate communication and cross-functional alignment within the Manufacturing Design organization and with other Dandy teams, drive suppliers, integrate their deliverables and schedules into the overall project, utilize a multi-functional team of engineers to meet overall program objectives, drive issue resolution and risk management in order to meet timeline, work with Advance Manufacturing team to define and establish supply chain requirements utilizing selected equipment and manufacturing suppliers, and use data to drive process decisions, basic data analysis, DOEs, SPC, etc.
