Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical field, with 8+ years in data-intensive roles, ideally within Asset Management or a related industry
  • Demonstrated leadership in establishing enterprise data modeling standards across federated data estates and assets
  • Ability to develop, communicate, and govern data modeling standards aligned to target information architecture
  • Hands-on experience designing high-performing data models for structured and unstructured data in cloud ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, AWS), including data mapping, lineage, classification, cataloging, and enforcing data standards
  • Passion for data modeling that enhances data efficiency and understanding for all users
  • Proficiency with data modeling tools (Erwin, Hackolade, etc) and maintaining a central enterprise model repository
  • Collaborative approach with outstanding communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy for the firm’s data estate, focusing on logical and physical data modeling practices
  • Leverage expertise in modern cloud data architectures, Lakehouse concepts, and industry standards to guide and document target state architecture, principles, and frameworks
  • Lead governance for core enterprise data models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable information architecture solutions
