Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
Proven experience in electronics engineering, particularly in the automotive industry, with a focus on embedded PCBA electronics design and development
Strong understanding of low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors
Experience with automotive Functional Safety, ISO26262
Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction
Proficiency in electronic circuit design and simulation tools
Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluency in English and German

Responsibilities

Lead pursuit engineering activities for automotive low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors
Collaborate with automotive customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored electronic solutions
Design and develop electronic systems and components for energy storage solutions
Work with Core Electronics Team to align electronic design to core platform designs as a starting baseline
Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction
Provide technical support and guidance to customers from early customer engagement through project award
Work with cross-functional engineering team to design energy storage systems to meet customer requirements with a specific focus on design for cost
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of electronic solutions
Conduct electronic analysis, modeling, and simulation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive standards
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in energy storage technologies
