Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in electronics engineering, particularly in the automotive industry, with a focus on embedded PCBA electronics design and development
  • Strong understanding of low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors
  • Experience with automotive Functional Safety, ISO26262
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction
  • Proficiency in electronic circuit design and simulation tools
  • Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English and German

Responsibilities

  • Lead pursuit engineering activities for automotive low voltage Lithium Ion batteries, Sodium Ion batteries, and super capacitors
  • Collaborate with automotive customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored electronic solutions
  • Design and develop electronic systems and components for energy storage solutions
  • Work with Core Electronics Team to align electronic design to core platform designs as a starting baseline
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers from early customer engagement through project award
  • Work with cross-functional engineering team to design energy storage systems to meet customer requirements with a specific focus on design for cost
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of electronic solutions
  • Conduct electronic analysis, modeling, and simulation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and automotive standards
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in energy storage technologies
