Requirements

  • Industry leading expertise in IBM i and similar technologies, including but not limited to Mimix, CL, RPG/RPGLE, COBOL, SYNON, CA/2E, SQL, Aldon, JDBC, ODBC, Direct Connect, Rational Developer, iNavigator, PEX and Database concepts
  • Experience leading strategic planning for enterprise applications including planning related to scalable growth, performance tuning, and optimization of the systems
  • Experience analyzing the enterprise platforms and related technologies to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Experience in creating and running budgets, strategic planning, process enhancement, technical leadership, HR management and staff development
  • Able to navigate a complex organization: worked effectively in an organization of considerable size, scope and complexity, highly effective at partnering across boundaries, collaborate, influence and drive impact across the organization, interact with and influence senior management enterprise wide, create marketing programs that further company objectives, work collaboratively across complex, multifunctional teams
  • Highly skilled communicator with the ability to connect deeply with people

Responsibilities

  • Directing a high skilled team of 50+ technology professionals, acting as the IT leader responsible for core adjudication strategic programs work stream running on the iSeries AS/400 platform
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of optimized technology solutions for CVS Health's RxClaim Adjudication platform
  • Providing forward-thinking and strategic direction in jointly developing and executing on the vision for Adjudication as a Service, including driving down cost of change, increase speed to market, technology relevance in ensuring scalability and serviceability of the platform
  • Creating and ensuring the implementation of application development standards to drive architectural roadmap for simplification and modularization of key adjudication functions
  • Leading large enterprise strategic and compliance programs working in close collaboration with PSS IT and Business leaders
  • Assisting in the business development process, setting priorities, and understanding requirements and technical platforms available to meet the business needs
  • Anticipating any challenges related to organic growth, system performance or EOL software/hardware potentials while ensuring all regulatory/compliance requirements are met
