Requirements

Candidates must have a completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with strong experience administering Kubernetes clusters. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Terragrunt, experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, and experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Golang, or Bash are required. A solid understanding of Linux distributions and experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS, are also necessary. Advanced English proficiency and residency in Brazil are mandatory. Proven leadership experience, experience with Buildkite, Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud certifications, and experience implementing and maintaining microservices are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Lead DevOps Engineer will support tickets from various product teams across diverse technologies, including Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, and AWS. They will maintain and improve critical systems to ensure stability, security, and compliance, and participate in and lead project work to enhance existing infrastructure. Responsibilities also include automating and implementing systems to improve reliability and operational efficiency, and collaborating with other teams to deliver cross-functional solutions.
