Candidates should possess a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, and be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of operation. A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a dentist is required, with demonstrated leadership experience preferred. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dental procedures are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
The Lead Dentist will serve as a mentor and coach to the dental team, providing clinical guidance and support. They will be responsible for hiring, training, and performance reviews of clinical personnel, ensuring adherence to Tend’s mission, vision, and values. The Lead Dentist will also participate in quality assurance reviews, analyze clinical data, and partner with the Studio Manager to achieve studio performance goals, including managing member escalations and optimizing clinical workflows.
