Candidates should possess a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely. They must have at least 3 years of experience as a delivery driver, with experience in healthcare preferred, and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and state and federal regulations is also required.
The Delivery Driver Lead will coordinate work schedules and delivery routes, monitor work flow to analyze patterns and trends, review and set standards for staff, conduct routine staff meetings, assist Delivery Supervisor in training driver personnel, and ensure the quality and efficiency of delivery operations. They will also be responsible for conducting routine staff meetings, maintaining vehicle safety and compliance, and performing physical inventories while ensuring timely and accurate medication deliveries to long-term care facilities and patients’ homes, adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
