Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the planning, design, and implementation of complex networks as part of a large enterprise network team, or within professional services or network integration environments
  • Experience in planning, design, and integration of secure network technology
  • Strong leadership track record
  • Professional business acumen
  • Polished oral and written communication, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop Visio designs/diagrams and document professional, cohesive deliverables (samples will be requested)
  • Positive, energetic attitude and desire to impact company and industry
  • Client location/office presence a minimum of 1 day per week (no relocation offered)

Responsibilities

  • Act as technical primary project lead and architect on engagements
  • Follow established, repeatable methodology, leverage templates, participate in/facilitate status meetings, report status, attend project meetings (including lessons learned), complete administration, reports, and mandatory compliance training on time
  • Stay abreast of latest marketing trends or chief concerns in profession, participate in National Practice operations, process improvement, and training calls
  • Take accountability for own professional development, career growth, and sharing knowledge with others
  • Collaborate, confer, and provide consulting services; manage project activities from client identification through final invoicing
  • Work on billable consulting service projects
  • Demonstrate broad product knowledge within a specific discipline; work independently on highly complex projects or in a team
  • Handle technical responsibilities: problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and deployment
  • Lead all technical aspects of delivery, customer satisfaction, and accurate timekeeping for billing (as sole or lead technical resource)
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus high-level working knowledge in related fields
  • Assist less experienced peers when needed
  • Use in-depth networking knowledge to design and implement solutions for clients
  • Act as subject matter expert within a specific discipline
  • Lead engagement team (consisting of other Consultants/Sr. Consultants) or serve as sole consulting resource
  • Act as mentor or coach
  • Create and implement new methods, techniques, and/or procedures
  • Work under minimal direction
