Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Retail, Marketing or related field
  • 3+ years Merchandise planning experience, in a vertical retail or wholesale environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong critical thinking capabilities with a growth mindset
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail math
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to lead a complex business with courage and passion
  • Ability to step up to address difficult issues, operate effectively in the face of ambiguity, think strategically and develop innovative ideas

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage multi-season financial plans by category to ensure consumer demand is met and a pull market is maintained
  • Optimize demand and supply through top-down financial planning which captures true marketplace demand
  • Define, craft and set ‘marketplace right’ consumer demand whilst driving the strategic vision of Nike Pacific through Marketplace Partners
  • Define and lead multi-season Stock and Sales Plans & Open To Buy with a focus on retail sales, margin and E2E inventory plans
  • Adjust and align Financial Plans based on targets and actuals
  • Define receipt or shipment plans to partners
  • Conduct in-season business trading through monitoring trends and driving cross-functional actions
  • Reconcile assortment plans with financial plans and align to consumer architecture
  • Manage contracts/forecasting in conjunction with the Assortment Planner and Marketplace team to drive financial plans and inventory goals
  • Deliver clear insight on risks and opportunities to the wider business with robust recommendations/action plans
  • Conduct long-range financial planning to align to Nike Pacific 5-year strategy
  • Engage in clear, concise storytelling and influence/engage key stakeholders across the business
