Requirements

Candidates should have 4-5 years of experience building enterprise-grade workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse. They need 1+ year of experience designing and deploying copilots with Copilot Studio and 1-2 years of experience integrating Azure AI Services like Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search. Proficiency in prompt engineering techniques, including RAG, is required. Experience with AI governance frameworks, including prompt safety, explainability, access control, and auditability standards, is necessary. Candidates should also have 2-3 years of experience integrating with REST APIs and custom connectors, and 6-7 years of experience working within Agile teams. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Excel is also needed.

Responsibilities

The Lead Automation & AI Engineer will build scalable enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, design copilots with Copilot Studio, and integrate with Azure AI Services. They will collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into working solutions, applying modern engineering practices. Responsibilities include establishing operational plans for the Automation Engineering team, developing and implementing new products and processes, and providing support to cross-functional teams. The role involves guiding and coaching other developers, performing code reviews, contributing to shared component libraries, and maintaining technical documentation. Additionally, they will develop and manage Power Platform pipelines, implement automated controls for AI governance, design custom connectors for external system integration, structure content for AI readiness, and ensure logging, monitoring, and telemetry are in place for performance tracking. The engineer will also partner with architects, analysts, and compliance leads to ensure traceable, secure, and scalable delivery.
