Requirements

Candidates should possess 2-3 years of experience in technical writing, demonstrating a semi-senior or senior level of expertise. E-commerce knowledge, including an understanding of order flows, integrations, and platforms like NetSuite, Shopify, and 3PLs, is desirable. Strong content structuring and organization skills are required, along with the ability to efficiently categorize, index, and maintain documentation. Excellent clear and concise writing skills are necessary to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content.

Responsibilities

The Technical Writer will develop and maintain documentation for three core user journeys: Day 0 (Configuration & setup), Day 1 (Operational oversight), and for Developers (API documentation, SDK guidance, and building new integrations). They will externalize the SDK framework to make it accessible to outside developers, establish a prescriptive approach to cataloging and prioritizing fragmented knowledge, and ensure documentation is user-friendly, actionable, and regularly updated. The role involves collaborating with product managers, engineers, and support teams to gather technical details and translate them into clear content, working with design tools like Figma, Markdown, and HTML, and researching industry trends and customer feedback to continuously improve content.
