Requirements

No prior experience strictly necessary, but previous work experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment considered an asset
Ability to meet physical demands, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending
Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) throughout the shift
Ability to push and pull
Mechanically inclined and able to follow instructions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and shift work for various production requirements
Commitment to safety rules, including wearing full protective personal equipment
Reliable transportation
Ability to work outside of public transit

Responsibilities

Comply with all safety rules and procedures
Operate equipment to manufacture steel pipe
Use various hand and power tools, gas torches, and measuring devices
Perform general labour duties
Visually inspect products produced at the station
Clean the work area
Perform computer data entry
