  • Expertise on competitive products, financial tactics, and strategic positioning
  • Ability to work within a complex, team-based selling process
  • Skills in active funnel management and implementing sales plans to achieve sales and financial goals

Responsibilities

  • Represent Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, positioning the Automation and Informatics portfolio to hospitals and reference laboratories
  • Anticipate customer needs and execute sales strategies to become the technical vendor of choice
  • Collaborate with sales team for customer retention, securing new business, and identifying opportunities for Automation and Informatics products
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on automation and informatics (WITs) in complex and IDN market segments
  • Own sales activities over long sales cycles, including forecasting, opportunity management, quotations/proposals, customer presentations, engagements, sales planning, and campaign strategy
  • Develop and execute creative strategies using market and competitive knowledge to influence decision criteria and close sales
  • Own Automation and workflow tactics as part of the sales strategy
  • Carry primary responsibility for all Automation and Informatics sales in complex or IDN market segments, customer quotes, and proposals
  • Guide development and execution of strategic account plans to achieve business goals
  • Collaborate with sales team to review and update account plans based on market changes, customer conditions, and competitive activity
  • Strategically leverage internal and external resources
