Candidates must be based in Brasília and possess a Bachelor's degree in a related business or scientific discipline. Required experience includes pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales or key account management with high-cost products. Experience with rare diseases is desirable, as is hands-on experience interacting with third parties and patient organizations, including selling high-cost products distributed through specialty pharmacies requiring coordination with patient access services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.
The Key Account Manager I will act as a direct link between PTC and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) and clients in their assigned geographic region. Responsibilities include representing PTC's products to medical professionals, generating sales, communicating clinical and economic benefits, building relationships, educating healthcare staff, and identifying new opportunities. This role involves developing and executing territory action plans to achieve sales goals, understanding and implementing marketing plans, and attaining sales/patient objectives. The position requires creating consultative business partnerships with customers, identifying treatment centers, driving patient identification initiatives, managing relationships with health authorities, KOLs, HCPs, patient organizations, and payors, and resolving product access and reimbursement issues. Additionally, the role involves providing training and assistance to HCPs, maintaining clinical and pharmacoeconomic knowledge, collaborating with colleagues, and reporting adverse events to the Pharmacovigilance Department.
