Requirements

  • Knowledge/experience of key account sales processes, corporate account planning, CRM management
  • Understanding of value selling and how to use value propositions developed by marketing at accounts
  • Master's degree, preferably in a field related to agriculture such as veterinary sciences or agronomy, or Business/Sales/Marketing with acquired experience in agriculture
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sales
  • Understanding of the complexity of a matrix organization and experience managing stakeholders within a matrix organization

Responsibilities

  • Acquire, develop, and retain a client portfolio of corporate accounts and provide innovative solutions, products, and programs
  • Identify and secure new clients (veterinary centers, out-of-ground production integrators, agricultural greenhouse market, tractorist networks, etc.)
  • Manage pricing, budgeting, and forecasting for the assigned client portfolio in agreement with respective regional account managers
  • Develop a unique account strategy for each client based on current and future needs that fosters a long-term trust relationship with Ecolab as a partner
  • Actively drive Total Value Delivered (TVD) initiatives, ensuring clients understand the financial impact of collaborating with Ecolab (exceptional ROI)
  • Coordinate Ecolab's global contact with assigned clients to ensure Ecolab appears as a transparent organization providing efficient and effective cross-divisional offerings
  • Lead and manage client and corporate-level business reviews, develop and negotiate contracts
  • Act as an expert in understanding the activities of assigned clients and share this knowledge with key internal stakeholders to improve the overall customer experience provided by Ecolab
  • Communicate regularly within Ecolab to ensure all parties clearly understand the strategies needed to meet clients' current and future needs
  • Develop and implement tools to effectively measure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with regional account managers and guide them to ensure initiatives are implemented
  • Demonstrate flexibility in responsibilities in case of changes in division priorities, sales tools, and processes
