Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales of surgical or medical capital equipment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing key accounts or executive-level clients
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing high-value deals with C-suite executives
  • Experience introducing innovative technologies into new markets
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Advanced Spanish and/or Portuguese (preferred)
  • Degree in Engineering or related fields (preferred)
  • Willingness to travel 50%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies aligned with regional and global objectives, ensuring integration with the company’s Mako strategy
  • Manage the full sales cycle for capital equipment, from lead generation to negotiation and closing, achieving defined revenue targets
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with hospital executives (CEOs, COOs, Directors, and other C-suite leaders) to drive recurring business
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of installations, training, and post-sale support
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, negotiating terms to optimize deal structures and profitability
  • Translate clinical benefits into economic value for healthcare providers using financial-based selling tools
  • Represent Stryker at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to enhance visibility and market presence
