Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 years of outside sales experience
  • Willing to be on call during off hours and weekends
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous sales development experience within the Institutional market sectors
  • A solid understanding of Ecolab products, services and systems with a focus on their application in the Institutional markets
  • Be results-orientated and possess a strong track record in a business to business selling role
  • Be accustomed to growing the business by negotiating and winning new business at the executive level
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Possess exceptional negotiation skills and a passion to deliver and exceed client expectations

Responsibilities

  • Increase Ecolab Institutional market share (target markets include Health and Aged Care (public and private), Hospitality (Hotel/Motels), Government facilities (Armed forces), Private Schools, Local Government, FSR (chain business), Restaurants)
  • Achieve new business sales targets established as part of the budgeting process
  • Ensure growth via new business is profitable by working to strict pricing guidelines
  • Conduct technical surveys to ensure a targeted Ecolab program
  • Prepare and present presentations to convey the Ecolab value proposition and secure new business
  • Construct basic customer rollout plans to ensure the customer and field team clearly understand the expectation
  • Work with the field team and act as the one voice of Ecolab during prospecting, proposals and presentations
  • Manage the relationship transition to the Regional/State sales team or Corporate Accounts
  • Participate in trainings involving a combination of classroom and on the job assessments
  • Build and foster industry contacts via networking, trade shows, functions and equipment suppliers
  • Work in collaboration with Territory Managers, District Sales Managers, Corporate Account Managers and Regional/State Managers to achieve the desired sales outcome
