Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Technical Writing, or a related field, along with proven experience in translation and localization, specifically focusing on technical writing and Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE). They must have a background in User Experience (UX) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, and demonstrate proficiency in both English and Japanese with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Familiarity with translation software and tools is also required.
The Japanese Partner Documentation Localization Expert will translate and localize partner documentation to ensure cultural relevance and contextual accuracy, adapting content to suit the linguistic and cultural nuances of the target audience while maintaining the original message and tone. They will review and edit translated content for accuracy, consistency, and quality, ensuring adherence to industry-specific terminology and style guidelines. Furthermore, the role involves staying updated with the latest trends, news, and developments in UX and KYC, and providing insights and expertise on these topics to inform content creation and strategy.
