Candidates must be U.S. citizens eligible for federal security clearance and possess 3-6 years of experience in platform, systems, or cloud infrastructure engineering. Required skills include hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud or similar regulated cloud environments, strong Linux administration, scripting in Python and Bash, proficiency with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks like FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 800-53, along with experience in VDI solutions, identity management systems, and network configuration, is also necessary. Experience with version control (Git), Agile methodologies, and ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow) is expected.
The Client Platform Engineer will support endpoint management by monitoring, patching, securing, troubleshooting, automating, and optimizing employee laptop and desktop systems. Responsibilities include streamlining employee-facing application experiences, testing application releases, researching solutions for common pain points, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Windows desktop configurations. The role involves participating in cross-functional initiatives, evaluating and supporting new internal products and services, and documenting IT policies and procedures. Collaboration with FedOps, Security, Compliance, and SRE teams is essential to ensure system availability, integrity, and regulatory compliance, including troubleshooting issues with root cause analysis and creating compliance artifacts for audits. The engineer will also monitor performance in a 24x7 environment, implement proactive solutions, and support VDI environments, cloud-native tools, and identity integrations.
