Requirements

Solid experience with MacOS administration
Familiarity with Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace in a remote-first setup
Experience with Jamf or a similar MDM tool
Ability to manage IT procurement and asset inventory
Self-sufficient and reliable with timely communication
Must be within commutable distance to NYC via train, subway, or car for occasional onsite needs
Experience with SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar frameworks (plus)
Background supporting startups or small teams (preferred)
Not actively seeking full-time employment elsewhere and available for medium-term reliable partnership (5-15 hours/week, fractional basis)

Responsibilities

Respond to escalated IT support requests and service tickets
Support onboarding and offboarding workflows when needed
Make updates to device management tools such as Jamf
Ship, receive, and prepare Mac laptops for employees, including occasional visits to NYC office or coordination with in-office staff
Perform basic audits and software updates
Assist with procurement and inventory tracking
Recommend and implement small improvements to IT systems and processes
Collaborate with internal teams on short technical projects
