Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years experience managing IT systems or processes in medical device or other highly regulated industry
  • OR Advanced Degree and minimum of 3 years experience managing IT systems or processes in medical device or other highly regulated industry

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting Regulatory and Technical Communications business processes and technical information systems platforms, including Component Content Management System (CCMS), Translation Management System (TMS), Project Management Tools and other technical solutions identified by the team
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection, modification and validation of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management
  • Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company's data, tools and information systems
  • Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility
  • Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics
  • Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
  • Overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of technology solutions that support Regulatory and Technical Communications processes and ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of IT systems
  • Leads a team of IT professionals, manages projects, and collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-quality technical support and innovative solutions
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and provides strategic guidance to align technology with business goals
