Job Description

Reporting to: Control Testing Manager

The IT Control Testing Analyst will be responsible for performing control testing related to data security and key resiliency risks across Experian's global business. You will collaborate with Controls Testing Leads and the Data Analytics Team, supporting them in risk assessment, planning activities, and identifying and developing data analytics strategies.

What you will do:

  • Perform control testing over data and information security, and important resiliency risks.
  • Develop testing plans that incorporate advanced analytics and manual activities, and implement testing across multiple departments and regions.
  • Coordinate testing activities with senior partners.
  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to identify opportunities for converting manual testing into assurance activities.
  • Direct the Data Analytics team to improve models and visualization based on testing results and future plans.
  • Support the Control Testing Manager in maintaining the risk universe to prioritize testing and report results and coverage.
  • Help maintain the testing methodology by contributing new ideas to improve testing performance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, management information systems, engineering, or another information technology-related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in implementing and testing controls, risk management, or compliance environments.
    • Experience collaborating with teams to ensure policy consistency and local regulatory compliance.
    • Experience proposing solutions.
    • Experience identifying important risks in access management and influencing improvements in the control environment.
    • Analytical experience in identifying potential risks and developing solutions.
    • Knowledge of risk assessment.
    • Good Partner Management skills.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced English proficiency.
    • Project management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Beneficial: Some Portuguese knowledge.
