Requirements

Detailed understanding of assigned business area’s goals and objectives
Ability to serve as a liaison between business areas and IT
Capability to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements
Experience collaborating with IT technical staff (e.g., Domain, Solution, and Enterprise IT Architects) and business clients on conceptual solution design
No need for immigration sponsorship (must be authorized to work without company involvement)
Ability to work hybrid schedule: at least 3 days in office (including Tuesdays and Wednesdays), up to 5 days if needed

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between business area(s) and IT, understanding business needs and collaborating with IT partners to resolve issues and suggest solutions
Anticipate and define business requirements for new/enhanced products, services, or optimized processes
Consult on IT strategy, planning, workflow/process design, and product solution development
Lead and play a key role throughout the full application lifecycle for small and large development projects
Lead and facilitate meetings and communications between IT and assigned business area, informing team members on discussions
Lead or oversee workflow analysis to support requirements identification
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover improvement areas, and facilitate solution development/implementation
Capture, analyze, and document business/user requirements and user stories for various project methodologies
Participate in developing IT roadmaps for assigned business area
Identify opportunities to improve business and IT processes and champion change
Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
Monitor industry activities, pursue learning opportunities, and identify potential solutions/best practices in collaboration with IT team
Conduct reviews of business processes and develop functional optimization strategies
Participate in developing user documentation, manuals, training materials, or job aids when necessary
Facilitate Application Development and Support activities for development requests, coordinating between internal/external groups and business
Accountable for Capital Project business cases and estimates; lead presentations to PMO and Finance
Work with business to assess proposed enhancement requests for value and completeness; may lead/co-lead such efforts
