Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, technology, or related field
Overall 4+ years of experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in investment banking or related domain
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Advanced Excel skills and use of Microsoft Office tools preferred
Excellent time management, analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
Comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, tools, and concepts within Investment banking discipline
General knowledge of business and financial markets developed through education or experience
Problem-solving ability relying on existing client procedures, capable of analyzing impending problems and formulating solutions
In-depth understanding of processes and ability to achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators or Service Level Agreements
Business acumen and technical savviness
Responsibilities
Collaborate with various upstream parties, generate ideas to quickly turnaround query resolution, and strengthen stakeholder relationships
Own client relationships, independently evaluate and resolve client queries, produce client reports, and support clients in understanding the impact of their investment decisions
Impart knowledge to junior staff by identifying training needs, upscaling their skills, assisting in prioritization of work and deliverables
Identify areas requiring improvement to existing processes, formulate solutions, and implement them by collaborating with internal team members and stakeholders
Oversee work completed by junior staff, provide assistance in delivering agile and flawless reports
Identify and drive projects that lead to increased efficiency and improved productivity of the team
Use judgement to make decisions without seeking approval
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions to junior staff, and check for their understanding
