Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, along with three years of warehouse distribution experience, including one year of Inventory Control experience, and one year of supervisory experience. They should also demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, and business acumen skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word).
The Inventory Control Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of day-to-day inventory control activities, overseeing compliance with the inventory policy and process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and directing hourly Associates. They will also partner with distribution management to recommend process improvements, participate in the review of warehouse layout and item slotting, oversee the recording and product movement for salvage sales and return to vendor transactions, ensure compliance with internal, external, and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) audit requirements, oversee selection audit activity and reporting, coordinate and lead pre-shift meetings, manage department staffing, training, performance management, and career development, and report and address any issues or work-related injuries.
