Requirements

Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in good standing, with a compact license or individual state licenses covering all U.S. states. A minimum of 4 years of clinical supervisory experience as a Registered Nurse is required, along with proficiency in telemedicine, a clean background and medical malpractice history, and prior experience with EPIC EMR. The role also requires the ability to work approximately 10 hours per week with reliable internet and a private workspace.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide professional supervision, oversight, evaluation, and guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in compliance with state nursing board regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring LPNs practice within their legal scope, co-signing documentation, participating in and documenting supervisory meetings, observing and assessing LPN performance, and ensuring patient care adheres to established protocols. The role also involves identifying training needs, maintaining supervisory records, communicating effectively with team members, and promptly addressing and documenting incidents or deviations from protocol.
