Candidates must possess at least 1 year of insurance sales experience in a fast-paced brokerage setting, experience selling with multiple carriers and in multiple states (home, auto, umbrella, jewelry), and an active Property & Casualty license. Outstanding understanding of insurance products and processes, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and persuasion skills, self-motivation, results-orientation, and proficiency in CRM software are also required. Bilingual ability in Spanish is a bonus.
The Insurance Sales Representative will connect with potential customers via phone, email, and text to understand their insurance needs and present suitable solutions. They will communicate the features and benefits of various insurance carrier products, address inquiries, and work primarily with company-provided leads to maximize sales potential. Responsibilities include following up with prospects, meeting and exceeding sales targets, collaborating with underwriters and customer service representatives, maintaining accurate CRM records, building custom policies, educating customers on home insurance, and staying updated on industry trends.
