Requirements

  • Based in Western Canada (ideally) with working hours aligned to Western Canada time zone(s)
  • Sales professional experience as an individual contributor with direct sales responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision
  • Experience managing multiple small to mid-size accounts
  • Understanding of market landscape, marketing, and pricing structures
  • Ability to influence pricing structures and structure complex contracts with sales, marketing, and finance teams

Responsibilities

  • Remotely sell Medtronic's products within assigned geography and/or specific customer accounts in Western Canada to achieve or exceed sales goals and quarterly quotas
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Identify, develop, and close leads for the business and refer internal leads when appropriate
  • Understand customer needs, manage and respond to customer concerns and problems
  • Provide input on new markets, new product introductions, and existing products or supplies
  • Promote and establish education on the company's products and/or services
  • Arrange demonstrations of products by field sales representatives
  • Assist field sales representatives in planning and execution of sales activities, including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and follow-up
  • Report complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with key decision-makers (physicians, administrators, procurement departments)
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare providers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure high client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional activities and product launches
  • Submit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and other administrative tasks
  • Attend virtual meetings, training, and conferences as required
