Responsibilities

  • Assist Key Account Managers (KAM) and Local Account Managers (LAM) with key accounts
  • Manage low-value accounts to ensure consistent service and support
  • Conduct deeper dives for next best actions to support LAMs with back-office support
  • Pull Customer Business Reviews (CBR) for strategic accounts to provide insights and recommendations
  • Identify sales or growth opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Collaborate with Laboratory/Key/Clinical Account Managers to effectively drive sales within assigned territory
  • Manage and close opportunities and sales leads generated by LAM or colleagues in Marketing and Technical Support teams
  • Maintain and develop the current customer database through the company's customer relations management software (Sales Force CRM)
  • Coordinate sales processes for assigned accounts within your sales territory
  • Support customer requests for information and provide timely responses
  • Responsible for CPQs (Configure, Price, Quote) across their region, with pricing provided by LAM
  • Complete Validation Agreements for approval
  • Support patient pathway projects to improve customer experience and outcomes
  • Coordinate CPRT (Customer Product Review Tests) Audits to ensure compliance and quality standards
  • Support instrument installs and validation processes to ensure accurate setup and functionality
  • Coordinate and arrange test send-aways as required
  • Support Tender responses to secure new business opportunities
  • Provide backorder management support to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Consistently communicate successes, failures, and guidelines to enhance the overall operating efficiency of the team, region, and sales organization
  • Offer sales projections for the designated region to aid in comprehending and strategizing for the business
  • Participate in sales, product, and systems training, marketing campaigns, and special projects as presented by the company
  • Develop appropriate selling skills consistent with company philosophy, policies, and procedures
  • Call customers at month-end to place orders and ensure timely processing
