Requirements

Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with a current license in their state of employment, and potentially additional licensure requirements in multi-state service areas. They should possess at least 5 years of recent nursing experience, including direct patient care, physical assessment, clinical education, and group in-servicing, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in infusion therapy. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Specialist/Infusion Educator LTC will build strong client relationships by consistently delivering client interactions that develop trust and show value, meeting with customers to present Omnicare Infusion Services and promote utilization of support tools and programs, evaluating regulatory compliance and determining clinical education needs, conducting Quality Assurance audits, identifying and providing recommendations regarding deficiencies, providing ongoing clinical training to facility staff, presenting infusion education programs, providing customer support services, managing resolution of client issues, assisting with onboarding new facilities, and operating with strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
