Requirements

Candidates must possess a 4-year degree in Healthcare, Life Science, or Nursing, and an active RN license (Oncology preferred). A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required, along with strong clinical oncology knowledge and experience with EHR/patient records. Clinical trial experience or data capture is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Oncology Clinical Data Quality Lead will provide clinical quality oversight on chart abstraction for studies in collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry, including electronic medical record review, chart abstraction, and quality control processes/review. They will proactively review chart abstraction activities, data collection requirements, and ensure consistency. Responsibilities include providing guidance to chart abstractors, understanding and reviewing SAP/Protocols, testing and reviewing electronic case report forms, conducting quality review and assurance, responding to Quality Control queries, performing chart abstraction activities, defining and executing chart abstraction completion dates, and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, the lead will provide training and onboarding for chart abstractors and contribute to improving the data quality control and abstraction process.
