Requirements

Candidates must be a Singaporean citizen due to G50 security clearance requirements, possess a Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, and have working experience in Linux and Windows systems. Knowledge or work experience in Azure or AWS is a plus, along with strong implementation and administrative skills for Linux systems, particularly RedHat, and good knowledge of open source cloud Platform-as-a-Service and Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and Docker containers and Kubernetes. Prior experience providing enterprise-wide support, including OpenShift, private/public cloud, and on-premises systems support, is also required, as well as an analytical mindset and initiative to improve productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Operation Specialist will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, monitoring, and daily maintenance of enterprise-wide applications, including Apache HTTPd, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere Application Servers, Kubernetes, Kafka, and IBM-MQ. They will interact with Software Development and infrastructure teams to define hardware requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with business units and project managers to solve business-technical issues. Additionally, the role involves evaluating and selecting middleware technology, conducting web and middleware environment troubleshooting, identifying performance bottlenecks, updating documentation, handling escalations, and utilizing ITSM processes and tools.
