Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of operational knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including experience with Azure and GCP, 5+ years of proven scripting abilities in languages such as bash, Python, or Golang, a strong desire to automate and create standard frameworks, 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience with tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Atlantis, 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and containerization best practices, particularly with EKS, 2+ years of experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and Datadog, and proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Infrastructure Engineer will provide highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure, build foundational infrastructure for other teams to deploy and run their applications, identify challenges and propose well-thought-out solutions, solve technical problems of high scope and complexity, mentor and level up other Engineers, define and improve standards for maintainability and best practices, contribute to architectural infrastructure decisions, participate in a 24/7 on-call shift schedule for infrastructure support, and look for ways to reduce toil through scripting and automation.
