Requirements

Candidates should have at least 5+ years’ experience in Linux systems administration, particularly from a DevOps-oriented background, and demonstrated ability to learn new technologies. Strong experience with server and service administration, including designing, building, monitoring, and securing Linux virtual servers and containers is required. Experience with automation tools like Ansible Automation Platform is also needed, along with familiarity with monitoring and analysis tools such as Datadog and Wazuh IDS. Experience managing NetApp storage tier and file servers, as well as understanding and applying information security controls across various operating environments, are beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for administering on-premises and cloud servers and services, including designing, building, monitoring, and securing various Linux virtual servers and containers. They will manage NetApp storage tier and other file servers, utilize Ansible Automation Platform to automate routine activities, collaborate with development and product teams to ensure infrastructure scalability, and use monitoring and analysis tools to collect and analyze system performance metrics. The role involves applying information security controls, assisting in network infrastructure management, building and supporting resilient and scalable systems, managing environmental and architectural changes, identifying technological impediments, communicating technical topics, administering applications and services, balancing operational needs with strategic initiatives, mentoring team members, participating in on-call rotations, and troubleshooting production issues.
