Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of Infrastructure / DevOps / SRE experience
  • Experience with a major Cloud provider (AWS preferred)
  • Shown ability with configuration management and service orchestration tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker (EKS preferred)
  • Experience administering Linux systems
  • Proficient in one or more major programming languages, such as Go or TypeScript / Node.js
  • Knowledge of modern database technologies and infrastructure, such as MongoDB or PostgresSQL

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain and enhance our AWS Infrastructure
  • Write Infrastructure-as-Code for provisioning and operating infrastructure in reliable and repeatable fashion
  • Build DevOps tooling and CI/CD Pipelines
  • Provide on-going maintenance and support of internal tools, improve system health and reliability
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents
  • Encourage great habits to enhance team practices by participating in code reviews and offering peer mentorship / support
