Candidates must possess over 15 years of experience in the telecoms sector, preferably within a network operator or equipment provider. A proven track record of leading BI/Analytics and AI/ML programs, shaping transformation across various business functions, and a deep understanding of telecoms data sources (OSS/BSS) and technologies like 5G, IoT, and cloud solutions are essential. The role requires the ability to lead change, influence corporate strategy, and operate credibly with C-level executives and industry stakeholders. An undergraduate degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and a willingness to travel as needed.
The Industry Principal will provide industry expertise to develop customer account strategies, build executive relationships, and present Snowflake's vision for data and AI in the telecoms sector. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships across the telecoms ecosystem, collaborating with partners to enable system integrators and ISVs, and developing cohesive GTM strategies and enablement materials. The role involves delivering industry perspectives at key events, developing thought leadership content, and collaborating with product teams to prioritize industry-critical capabilities. Additionally, the principal will support key customers to maximize business benefits and inform account prioritization and sales plays.
