Responsibilities

  • Become the expert your customers need: Understand their industry (applications, standards/regulations, drivers & trends), their organization, how things get done, their goals, and how Rockwell Automation's offerings and partner capabilities help achieve those goals
  • Manage the strategy for growing your accounts and communicate plans to your extended team for support
  • Develop into a trusted advisor by understanding customers' processes, plans, and organization model to offer application knowledge, industry expertise, and guidance on projects
  • Influence decisions by qualifying customer opportunities, engaging resources, and coordinating solution design and presentation to ensure customers choose Rockwell Automation's solution
  • Collaborate with Industry Managers, broader account team, senior management, and technical engagement team (domain experts) to plan for and win opportunities
  • Look ahead using the Dynamics CRM system and processes to maintain accurate assessments of targets and opportunities in the funnel
  • Negotiate with Contracts and Negotiations colleagues to offer optimal contract terms and conditions (T&Cs), pricing, discounts, allowances, and secure agreements to support proposals
  • Manage customer/internal account reviews and internal/external partner expectations
