Candidates need a 2yr technical degree or related education with 4+ yrs of millwright experience in mechanics, mechatronics or electromechanics, 2+ yrs experience with Baker Hughes or similar rotating equipment including gas turbines in the O/G industry, ability to read mechanical drawings, work with hydraulic tooling, and perform onsite machining, NDT, rigging, and lifting.
Ideally be certified as apprentice industrial mechanics (millwrights) or in process for such certification.
A strong candidate has 4+ years of millwright experience, 2+ years with rotating equipment like gas turbines, relevant technical education, millwright certification or in process, and physical capability to work 60-70% on field outages including lifting up to 50lbs.
