Job Opportunity: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician (Remote)
Position Overview
Dane Street, a premier Independent Review Organization (IRO) and national provider of Utilization Review (UR) services, is seeking Board-Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physicians to join our expanding physician panel. This is a flexible, remote (telework) contract opportunity for physicians with an active Nevada medical license to perform independent medical reviews. This role is ideal for physicians looking for supplemental income and non-traditional work, even while maintaining an active clinical practice.
Position Details
- Specialty Needed: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- License Required: Active, unrestricted Nevada medical license
- Employment Type: Independent contractor (1099)
- Location: Telework / Remote
- Compensation: Per-case payment (average case takes 15–20 minutes)
- Workload: You set your own schedule and case volume
- Start Date: Training and onboarding can be completed in under one week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical necessity determinations on treatment requests.
- Review appealed cases and render evidence-based opinions.
- Perform advisory duties only; no direct patient care or treatment is involved.
- Complete all reviews using Dane Street’s secure and user-friendly portal.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Nevada Medical License
- Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Active clinical practice
- Strong written communication skills
