Requirements

  • HBO Logistics Management or equivalent expertise
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in customs regulations, import/export, and materials management
  • Knowledge of customs regulations
  • Proven experience in import/export coordination or a related field
  • Outstanding knowledge of global shipping regulations and customs procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Diligent with a dedication to accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
  • Ability to strictly adhere to deadlines and balance multiple tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Handle exports and imports for the Groningen Biologics site
  • Ensure Global Trade Compliance, adhering to laws, regulations, and policies governing international trade, including customs regulations, import/export controls, trade sanctions, and anti-corruption measures
  • Maintain up-to-date export classifications and HTS classifications
  • Verify valuation for import and export shipments and apply for required licenses
  • Collaborate with carriers, brokers and customers to ensure compliance and meet customer needs
  • Maintain required documentation according to Global, EU and local law and corporate policy
  • Connect with suppliers and affiliated business units to streamline processes
  • Control accurate shipping of goods and monitor shipments
  • Ensure cGMP storage and flow of materials
  • Maintain procedures in line with cGMP and EH&S regulations
  • Coordinate shipment activities within the Logistic department
  • Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), handling Deviations, CAPAs and Change Controls
