Requirements

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred, along with experience with technology-based processes. Candidates with liability experience and/or paralegal defense work are preferred. Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines are necessary. The ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines is required. Computer literacy and typing skills are essential. Remote employees must supply and support their own internet services and maintain an uninterrupted internet connection.

Responsibilities

The IME Quality Analyst - Liability is responsible for managing the medical file review process, reviewing completed referrals to ensure client questions are addressed, and reviewing completed reports for accuracy. They will ensure client and department standards are met by performing quality audits on reports, checking for completeness and accuracy, and following up with reviewers and clients for clarification. The analyst will also update clients on referral progress, ensure reports are grammatically correct and error-free, verify adherence to the QA checklist, and format reports for approval. Additionally, they will communicate clearly and concisely between customers, reviewers, and the operations team, confidently speaking with physicians and clients about peer review content, and performing other duties and special projects as assigned.
