Responsibilities

The Medical Record Retrieval Specialist will travel to provider offices within the region, primarily in Miami/Dade and Broward counties, to scan medical records into a secure system. This involves collecting records by using a laptop and portable scanner, downloading electronic records, and meeting production goals. The role requires timely and efficient visits to physician offices, answering phones, faxing, internet searches, email utilization, and updating site information using internal systems. Adherence to CarePlus and HIPAA confidentiality standards is mandatory, along with maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when communicating with others.
