Requirements

  • HR qualification at a degree level or equivalent relevant experience
  • Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives
  • Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
  • Effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions and influence senior leadership on people matters
  • Confident facilitation and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with building collaborative relationships

Responsibilities

  • Drive a team of HR professionals (x4), motivating and engaging them to complete HR priorities for the facility in terms of all things people
  • Manage HR projects and lead change within the facility, including implementing new tools to provide better support to people initiatives
  • Provide direction and guidance to all levels of leadership and employees across the facility on employment legislation and company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency
  • Support talent management, including succession planning, performance management, and employee development for all facility employees
  • Play an integral part in the Employee survey, supporting the business in interpretation of results and action planning
  • Prepare HR reports using statistical and analytic skills
  • Monitor and react to market changes from the people perspective
  • Be the first point of contact for Works Council, listen, learn, influence, and bring solutions
  • Ensure all HR operational matters are excelled and have an impact on the people element of Caterpillar Den Bosch's overall strategy to enable business success
  • Work directly with all site teams including operations, supply chain, business resources, purchasing, and more as an integral part of the order to delivery function
