Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience, along with a preferred PHR or SPHR certification and a valid driver’s license. They should also have at least five years of experience in employee relations or a related field, and experience in multi-state, multi-unit operations within the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry is preferred. Experience with merger, acquisition, and/or divestiture processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner will monitor staffing levels, turnover, and churn, working with Operations Leadership to identify and address root causes and provide improvement guidance. They will facilitate Talent Strategy/Bench Strength and Succession Planning sessions, conduct training on employee relations topics, serve as an Employee Relations expert handling escalated concerns and investigations, and own assigned ER cases while documenting findings and ensuring accurate records. The role involves partnering with various stakeholders to resolve inquiries, concerns, and investigations, championing compliance through policy updates and education, and providing EEOC/Agency response information. Furthermore, they will deliver engagement survey results and assist in developing action plans, manage the performance appraisal process, monitor salary planning, and provide guidance on Professional Development Plans and Performance Improvement Plans.
