Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation (ideally within technology or a comparable environment)
  • Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills across all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to support the delivery of HR programmes and processes that drive business performance
  • Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice (knowledge of Indian labour law is helpful but not required)
  • Analytical mindset – able to interpret people data and use insights to inform action
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Genuine passion for enabling people and teams to do their best work

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and support senior business leaders across the Technology organisation, providing practical advice and coaching on People-related matters
  • Support the VP, HR – Technology in delivering people initiatives and cyclical programmes across the function
  • Help implement the People plan for the Technology organisation, ensuring alignment with business goals and the broader Deliveroo People strategy
  • Collaborate with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Reward, DE&I, Internal Communications and Legal to deliver seamless HR solutions
  • Contribute to change and organisational-development initiatives, helping teams scale effectively
  • Provide data-driven insights on engagement, attrition, diversity and organisational health to inform decision-making
  • Coordinate cyclical HR processes such as performance reviews, compensation cycles and workforce planning
  • Support the management of employee-relations cases and investigations, ensuring fair, consistent and timely outcomes
  • Champion Deliveroo’s culture and values, fostering an inclusive and engaging employee experience
