Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area to target, penetrate, and establish relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Effectively engage with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc., across multiple medical subspecialties.
  • Call points include: Physician’s office, Hospital Pharmacy, OR, ICU, etc.
  • Clearly communicate complex clinical information in challenging situations.
  • Manage hybrid relationships through a mix of in-person (70+%) and virtual engagement, leveraging next-gen working methods for efficiency.
  • Utilize data sources to maximize strategies and efficiencies, capitalizing on opportunities with the greatest ROI.
  • Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals.
  • Manage and track territory-specific information using a CRM system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry.
  • Ability to work independently and manage key account relationships.
  • Demonstrated sales growth while managing your own territory.
  • Documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong business acumen and comprehension of difficult clinical information.
  • Ability to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real-time situations.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce).
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Experience

  • Buy and Bill & Injectable product experience.
  • Oncology experience.
  • Hospital Sales Experience, including familiarity with the P&T/Formulary process.
  • Knowledge of local/regional health systems.
